Snow Leopards (Panthera uncia) grow up quickly! Cubs are small and helpless when they are born, and do not open their eyes until they are about seven days old. At two months, cubs are ready to eat solid food and at three months, they begin following their mother and start learning how to hunt. Once the cubs reach about two years old, they’re ready to set out on their own! (Snow Leopard Trust, 2020, https://www.snowleopard.org/snow-leopard-facts/life-cycle/)
