The Flower Hat Jelly (Olindias formosa) is a striking jelly with brilliant, multicolored tentacles trailing from a translucent, pinstriped bell. It also has tentacles around the rim of its bell that it can quickly coil and uncoil close to their bodies that can make them appear short. They are nocturnal and remain close to the sea bottom during the day and are found off of the coasts of southern Japan, Argentina, and Brazil.
